As upskilling becomes a growing priority for both industry and government, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) — a post-secondary institution in Singapore offering career-focused technical and vocational training — is taking a more proactive role in raising awareness of its wide range of courses and fields available to learners.
To achieve this, ITE partnered with Mashwire to develop a suite of creative assets for the campaign, designed to stand out in a crowded media landscape and spark interest that drives audiences to explore and sign up for courses.
"Stack Up! Stand Out!" is built on a simple but powerful idea: as learners gain more skills, they don't just grow in knowledge, they grow in confidence, capability, and distinction, allowing them to truly stand out in their personal and professional journeys. To bring this story to life, we developed a building-block-inspired visual narrative, using a familiar and playful building language to make the idea of skill accumulation more tangible and engaging. Each object built from stacked bricks represents a course, symbolising how every new skill adds another layer to one's personal and professional growth. Using building blocks build-ups as a visual system, we show how abilities gained through each course combine to form a functional, enterprise-ready ecosystem.
However, as this is an ongoing campaign, creative fatigue can occur in the fast-paced social media landscape. To address this, we introduce refreshed visuals that maintain the core campaign message. Instead, we build upon and expand the visual ecosystem and storyline across phases, from stacking up skills to working together as an integrated system that delivers real business outcomes.
